Home Learning Week Eight- 1st March

We had a good week last week didn't we with our 'Happy News' meetings and some fun with our moving maths meets! We have got one more week of home learning left - you've done so well, we know you can do 5 more days! Don't give up!

Keep your eyes peeled on Dojo where we will post lessons for you too. Send your complete work - either a photo of the worksheet of the digital version as a file-to your portfolio for your teacher to mark.

This week’s PE: LKS2 will be completing a sequence of PE sessions based on Boxfit. These lessons have been provided by Idsall Secondary School with help from Bridgnorth Boxing Academy. All lessons last approx. 25 - 45mins, including an element where pupils have to learn independently following teacher led activities. In this lesson, we will learn about different lifestyles and characteristics and how these will affect the amount of energy that those people need.

We will look at a video about Sarah the adventurer and investigate the food types that are important to her for her lifestyle and the reasons for this. Your task is to plan a menu for Sarah to give her all the nutrients that she requires.

Watch this video to help you with creating your own version of Hokusai's Great Wave. You can create the image in your own style if you'd prefer.  Maybe using collage to add colour and texture, or perhaps paint or pencil crayon. It's up to you. remember to look at the original as a reference.
