St Andrew's Governing Body
The Governing Body meets twice a term as a whole group and more regularly as members of various committees. School Governors have legal duties, powers and responsibilities. They can only act collectively, not individually. The Governors are made up of parents, members of staff and community representatives and are responsible for:
- ensuring clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction;
- holding the headteacher to account for educational performance;
- overseeing the financial performance of the school and making sure money is well spent.
The minutes of the Governing Body meetings are public documents and you can ask at the school office if you would like to see any of the minutes of our meetings. You can also contact the chair of the governors via the school office.
